FULL MOON ~ TONANTZIN SACRED CELEBRATION:
GUADALUPE SAINT’S DAY and WINTER SOLSTICE
With Oralia Venzor, local Mexican ceremonialist
Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019 ~ 5:30-7:00 PM
Honor the coming of Winter with a Native Mexican Ceremony to celebrate the Full Moon,
Tonantzin (Mother Earth), La Virgin Guadalupe, and Embracing the Dark.
In this magical fusion of ancient native and western traditions, as well as the fullness of
the moon and the receding of daylight, we prepare for Winter Solstice and its inward journey
to our true selves, the valuable energy of hibernation that goes deep into our Mother Earth.
This is also the Saint’s Day for Our Lady of Guadalupe, another beloved representation of the
Divine Feminine with her blessings of love and compassion.
Oralia will create a Sacred Altar and guide us in meditation.
Teryl will offer a restorative yoga nidra (yogic sleep) to assist us in this season’s transition.
