Class Descriptions:
Gentle/All Levels: For beginning and continuing students
alike, this practice is thorough yet gentle, building balance,
strength and flexibility.
All
Needs/All Levels: Each class customizes for the needs and
abilities of each student, to provide an appropriate blend of
challenge and comfort.
Sunrise/Wake Up: Breath and body energizers get you
charged for the day. Appropriate for all levels.
Restorative: The use of gentle stretches, props and
assisted passive poses provides a deeply relaxing practice.
Special
Needs: Designed for students who have health challenges
such as cancer, heart disease, arthritis, fibromyalgia, MS,
back problems, etc., or have restrictions from injury.
Dru Yoga:
Awakens your inner strength and stability, accesses abundant
energy, calms body and mind, and offers practical methods to
achieve "stillness in motion."
Release &
Relax: A blend of stretches, active asanas, and
restorative poses (propped & passive) releases held tensions
for a perfect mid-week experience.
Chair
Yoga: For students who choose to avoid floor or standing
work or weight-bearing on joints, chairs offer support for a
wide variety of yoga poses.
Family
Yoga: For kids & their adult family members, this playful,
interactive class meets once a month to teach the basics of
yoga, building strength, confidence, balance & focus.
Women's
Yoga: For continuing women students who want to deepen and
grow their yoga practice, and share the insights and
intuitions of the feminine journey.
*Continuing:
Prerequisite minimum one year yoga experience or by
permission. Moderate is for students who want more
challenge |
